Who We Are
4 Colorado Kids was founded in June 2017 by a group of local business owners, teachers, pediatric therapists, parents and advocates, to help close the gap for local families and children living in poverty.
Many of our founding members were working in direct-care and supported families and children, many times with disabilities. As they provided services in-home or at area schools, they noticed first-hand that basic necessities were missing - such as food, weather-appropriate clothing, beds and blankets, school supplies and other important items, that are critical to the development and growth of a child.
4 Colorado Kids was formed to work one-one-one with families, community partners, health care providers, nonprofits, schools and other entities, to address the needs of children and ensure they receive the care they need in order to be successful.

How We Help
Erase the Need
Provide clothing, basic necessities, healthy snacks, and brand-new backpacks filled with school supplies to kids in need. |
Teacher Sponsorships
Bridge the gap for local teachers by raising money and providing much-needed classroom supplies and essentials. |
Summer Scholarships
Help raise money and sponsor local kids of all abilities so they can attend educational and recreational programs. |
Family Support
Work one-on-one with families, health care providers, nonprofits, and schools to address the needs of kids with disabilities. |
What We Achieve
We see first-hand how early Intervention can significantly impact a child’s ability to learn new skills, overcome challenges and increase success in school and life. 4 Colorado Kids partners with school districts, health care providers, nonprofits and other organizations to impact families who are in need of critical support and services. Since our inception, nearly $40,000 has directly impacted local kids and classrooms through grants and scholarships.
