digital imaging and scanning clerk
VOLUNTEER OR INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY We are in need of two volunteers to help us scan and archive important medical documents. The main task is to produce digital copies of documents for retention purposes and organize the files on various local, network and cloud storage devices. Scanned copies of the documents need to be legible and the clerk must be able to operate a computer and make any necessary adjustments for clean scans. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and comfortable using a computer and scanning device (equipment provided). No prior experience is required. All volunteers must go through HIPPA compliance training and orientation to ensure the privacy of records and people served by the organization. The Story of 4 Colorado Kids 4 Colorado Kids was founded in June 2017 by a group of local business owners, teachers, therapists, parents and advocates, to help close the gap for local families and children living in poverty. Many of our founding members were working in direct-care and supported families and children, many times with disabilities. As they provided services in-home or at area schools, they noticed first-hand that basic necessities were missing - such as food, weather-appropriate clothing, beds and blankets, school supplies and other important items, that are critical to the development and growth of a child. 4 Colorado Kids was formed to work one-one-one with families, community partners, health care providers, nonprofits, schools and other entities, to address the needs of children and ensure they receive the care they need in order to be successful. 4 Colorado Kids Mission Our mission is to partner in making lives better for Colorado children, so they can thrive and feel empowered to achieve life and academic success. 4 Colorado Kids Vision We believe every child deserves an even playing field, to have the necessities they need for peace of mind and confidence. This basic foundation lets kids know they are important members of our community. |
